ESSENTIAL NEWS
Head To Toe Women's Expo
12.4.2009
It was cold at the show, but that did not stop women from shopping for Total Sleep and Flex Essentials. It was great to see Denise and her crew again.
Arizona's Ultimate Women's Expo
10.17.2009
All we can say, is super hot, hot, hot-- the weather and natural sleep-aid Total Sleep. This really was surprising. Usually natural pain reliever Flex Essentials is the first to fly off the shelf, but in Arizona people need sleep.
Women's Head To Toe Expo Pasadena
10.9.2009
It was so much fun to see so many familiar faces from other women's events and to hear the positive feedback about natural pain reliever Flex Essentials and natural sleep-aid Total Sleep. This was the first year the show was held in Pasadena; we look forward to next year. The frozen yogurt place on Colorado Blvd. was amazing!
San Diego Quilt Show
9.17.2009
Flex Essentials provided pain relief for repetitive movement injury and Total Sleep provided relief from insomnia to the artists at the San Diego Quilt Show. We look forward to seeing your beautiful work next year.
National Education Association Annual Meeting and Expo
7.1.2009
People from all over the country came to sunny San Diego to support their association leaders. They took some time for themselves and stopped by our booth to find out about FlexEssentials and TotalSleep. Thank you for all the interesting conversations and advice about our three-year-old boy!
Jazzercise Spa Getaway
6.26.2009
What a fun event this was. Eight hundred people gathered in Palm Springs at La Quinta resort to dance their hearts out for up to five hours a day--FlexEessentials came in handy. We loved meeting everyone from all over the country who came to shake a leg with the amazing Judy Sheppard Missett and her Jazzercise team. Did we mention it was 106 degrees?
Women's Expo Phoenix
4.25.2009
The expo was at the new stadium in Glendale and it was a beautiful event. Here's to all the women of Phoenix kicking back with TotalSleep, watching those amazing sunsets, and getting some shut eye.
Head To Toe Women's Expo
4.17.2009
We made it just in time from AERA to attend the Head To Toe Expo in Del Mar, which is always a fun experience. At one point a woman in the booth next to us broke out in opera. There were a lot of women looking for a natural sleep alternative. We were happy to help.
American Educational Research Association
4.13.2009
This was the first event we've attended where everyone REALLY read our footnotes.
National School Board Association 69th Annual Conference and Exposition
4.4.2009
We had a great time at the National School Board Association's Annual Meeting in San Diego. It was exciting to have so many people come back to our booth and tell us they slept well or their knees did not hurt! How encouraging it is to think our young people are in these people’s hands.
Bob Hope Chrysler Golf Classic
1.25.2009
We spent the last few weeks of January in La Quinta, California soaking in the sun and watching the birdies fly at the silver anniversary of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. FlexEssentials was the hot ticket of the day, providing relief to golfers with strained backs, shoulders and knees. Pat Perez won the 50th Annual Bob Hope Classic by three strokes, with an eagle on 18, to finish at -33. If you take FlexEssentials, you too can finish at 33 under like Pat Perez! Okay, maybe we’re pushing it a bit.
Head To Toe Women’s Expo
11.7.2008
There were more than 200 booths dedicated to women at the Head To Toe Women’s Expo—from nutrition and shoes to relief from pain and sleeplessness – with thousands of visitors over the three-day expo.
We heard story after story of women struggling with stress and sleeplessness. So, we had to be there to provide relief, and have already had positive feedback.
American Public Health Association
10.25.2008
The American Public Health Association (APHA) convention was our most intriguing event. Thousands of doctors, epidemiologists and health care professionals presented their research and absorbed others’ research over a five-day convention. We were there for the four-day expo, introducing others to FluidEssentials’ products and gathering valuable information from the recent research and studies that were presented.
Visitors to our booth were extremely inquisitive and everyone was after one of our Essential Knowledge Newsletters and its scientific detail. We had a lot of people try FlexEssentials and TotalSleep for the first time and return the next day without pain or sleeplessness.
Countrywide Classic
7.27.2008
The Countrywide Classic tennis event was a huge hit! First, we love tennis (Andy Roddick lost to Del Potro in the final). Second, the weather was absolutely amazing. Thousands attended over the week-long event and we handed out free samples. More than a hundred attendees personally returned to the FluidEssentials booth to say their aches, pains and sleeplessness had gone away. We truly enjoy making such a positive difference in peoples’ lives. We can’t see ourselves doing anything else.
FluidEssentials Sponsors High Cloud Foundation Athletes
7.2.2008
The High Cloud Foundation (
www.highcloud.org ) is on a humanitarian mission to alleviate world poverty. It does so by supporting rural schools and more. It raises funds through running events from 5Ks to high-altitude marathons. High Cloud’s athletes travel globally at a furious pace raising money, running and volunteering time. FluidEssentials sponsors High Cloud’s athletes with FlexEssentials and TotalSleep. The athletes absolutely love TotalSleep, particularly given their travel schedule and constant jet lag. And they love FlexEssentials to alleviate the pain associated with the extreme exercise regimen they maintain.
We raise a FluidEssentials glass to honor these dedicated humanitarian athletes.
Cheers!
The 2008 Olympic Track & Field Trials—We Had To Be There!
6.29.2008
FluidEssentials just returned from a great event hosted at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at the University of Oregon. It was an invite-only crowd with past and current Olympians. We were able to meet Joanna Hayes (defending gold medalist in Women’s 100m Hurdles), Dan O’Brien (1996 Olympic gold medalist in Decathalon), Mike Powell (world-record holder in the Long Jump) and many more.
There were two great things about the event. One, we were in Track Town USA (Eugene, OR). For track and field, it just doesn’t get any better than that. Two, it was great to be so close and personal with the Olympic Movement.
Rock n’ Roll Marathon San Diego
5.30.2008
The Rock n’ Roll Marathon held a two-day expo that welcomed thousands of runners, fans and visitors. FluidEssentials was on hand and our booth was non-stop for two days. We saw an incredible amount of interest in our products, along with some incredible reactions to the results. We needed two more booths to handle the crowd.
Fortunately we were able to see the race too. About 10 miles in we were shocked to see the lead group of Kenyans and Ethiopians sprint past us. They literally had zero competition as minutes past before we saw the next runners. But no matter how fast each person ran, everyone who finished was euphoric. The feeling of accomplishment on each runner’s face was great. It was a lot of fun to be a part of it and to make a contribution to a few runners’ success – and spread the word on healthy living solutions.
FluidEssentials At High Fives Event At Sugar Bowl Ski Resort
4.26.2008
One of the first events we attended was the High Fives extreme skiing event at Sugar Bowl in Truckee, California. The founder of High Fives, Roy Tuscany, broke his back a couple years ago doing a huge 540. He’s been rehabbing ever since. He recently established High Fives, a production company putting on extreme sporting events.
At Sugar Bowl that day the weather was amazing. It was sunny, sunny, sunny and maybe 70 degrees. It was an awesome spring skiing day and the event was spectacular. The skiers jumped a 60-foot gap while completing 540s. Needless to say, they took some FlexEssentials afterward!
